Interview with Stephanie Dolce

Author of Love At First Bite

Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?

Rockland County NY.

What made you decide to write and publish your first book?

I’ve always wanted to write once I was younger and I love writing non-fiction over fiction.

How would you describe your books to first time readers?

My non-fiction books are about how dangerous online dating/dating apps are, how to have a relationship in the social media world, the sex industry and how that effects our relationships, Cyber bullying, and many other issues.
My fictional books are about empowering young girls.

Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?

I feel that 20 years old have a LOT to learn about life and love. My generation can certainly learn from my experiences and the research I do on topics and my fiction books are for young girls 16 and older. But my latest book is my first ever recipe book “Love At First Bite” – that’s for anyone who loves baking and diy.

What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?

Publishing is not easy! It’s time consuming and sometimes it’s frustrating – but it’s all worth it!

If you could, what advice would you give to your past self before embarking on this journey?

Be patient.
Be prepared for bumps in the road.

How many people would you ideally like to reach with your books?

I’ve already reached over a million people so I would love to reach a million more!

What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?

Once you do it a few times everything falls into place so the process is easy now.

What’s your biggest strengths when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

All three are my strengths- I own my own social media company- Sassy Productions, so I have a great team that helps me.

What’s your biggest weakness when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

When it comes to weakness it’s still patience lol but I work on this every day.

When do you think you will write your next book?

I am already writing the follow up to my best seller “Hello Love, Where’s Cupid 2nd ed” I don’t have a title yet but look for the follow up to be published in 2020.

Are you self published or did you use a hybrid publisher, or a traditional publisher?

Self.
