Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?

I am originally from Chattanooga, TN and I reside in Nashville, TN

If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?

I attended college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN and found my first real job here in Nashville, TN.

What made you decide to write and publish your first book?

Kingdom Finances for Kingdom Building was written and published as a result of teaching a seven week financial empowerment seminar. I believe the Lord wanted me to use my passion for finances, call to ministry and my personal testimony to provoke others to overcome financial bondage for the advancement of the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

How would you describe your books to first time readers?

Kingdom Finances for Kingdom Building will make you laugh, cry and re-evaluate your financial position as you embark upon a practical and biblical journey to financial freedom. Kellie L. Morgan will evoke, enable and empower you to move beyond your current financial situation with biblical application, interactive exercises, and her own personal testimony.

Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?

Many times financial books include jargon that goes over the readers head and people find themselves frustrated and hopeless when it comes to their financial situations. Kingdom Finances for Kingdom Building will motivate, encourage and empower the reader to move forward to reaching their financial destiny by following practical simple steps to financial freedom.

What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?

One of the surprising things I learned during the process of writing and publishing is books take time. There are chapters that will not

If you could, what advice would you give to your past self before embarking on this journey?

The advice I would give to my past self before embarking on this journey would be you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Trust the Lord and He will lead you to the finish line. If you are afraid, just do it afraid and don’t try to be perfect because there is always room to grow. You can always revise a book as you grow and develop.

How many people would you ideally like to reach with your books?

I would like to reach at least 20,000 people. However, it is a dream of mine to become a New York Times Best seller one day and to be globally known.

What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?

The biggest challenge and frustration during the process was getting the book published and the marketing.

What’s your biggest strengths when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

My biggest strength is writing the book.

What’s your biggest weakness when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

My biggest weakness when it comes to writing a book is marketing.

When do you think you will write your next book?

I will probably write my next book in the near future.

Are you self published or did you use a hybrid publisher, or a traditional publisher?

Kingdom Finances for Kingdom Building is a self published book.
