Author of The Darkest Secrets of Africa
Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?
I am from Nigeria, lived in South Africa for about 5 years and currently I live in Nigeria.
If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?
I live in Nigeria currently.
What made you decide to write and publish your first book?
I was inspired by my African culture , and at the same time, I want the world to learn about the other side of our culture being exploited by a few to perpetrate evil in the African society.
How would you describe your books to first time readers?
I will describe it as a “mind-opening” and educative piece of content that is worth thinking about.
Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?
Mostly Africans and people from other parts of the world interested in learning more about the African culture.
What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?
It surprises me that many people still claim ignorance of the dark secrets exposed in the book.
If you could, what advice would you give to your past self before embarking on this journey?
I would have advice my past self to conduct more investigation to unravel more mysteries about the subject matter.
How many people would you ideally like to reach with your books?
I would like my book to reach millions of people worldwide. This will probably motivate me to expose even more about the subject matter.
What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?
The limited time-frame and not adding enough professional touches to the book.
What’s your biggest strengths when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?
My biggest strengths are passion and commitment.
What’s your biggest weakness when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?
The time duration.
When do you think you will write your next book?
By the end of this month.
Are you self published or did you use a hybrid publisher, or a traditional publisher?
I am a self-publisher.
