Author of Life’s Harsh Reality
Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?
I’m originally from South Carolina but now I reside in Georgia.
If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?
I wanted to get away from home and Georgia was the next closest place.
What made you decide to write and publish your first book?
I wanted to share with you and the rest of the world my gift.
How would you describe your books to first time readers?
My books are more about what we as people go through everyday. For instance, things like rape, sex trafficking, racial profiling, equality for woman, and woman issues.
Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?
I feel woman connect more but there has been a lot of more who have emotional feeling towards issues women face.
What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?
My work ethic is very strong.
If you could, what advice would you give to past self yourself before embarking on this journey?
Keep pounding until something happens.
How many people would you ideally like to reach with your books?
I believe that the more people see the more people will engage the book.
What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?
Promotion.
What’s your biggest strengths when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?
Writing I’m still learning the marketing phase.
What’s your biggest weakness when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?
Marketing. I’m still learning.
When do you think you will you write your next book?
My next books “Life’s Harsh Reality 2” and “The Rich Man and Simon” will be out this fall.
Are you self published or did you use a hybrid publisher, or a traditional publisher?
I am self published.
