The Guardians;An Inevitable Destiny

Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?

I grew up in Swissvale and Pitcairn Pa. I live in Evans city pa now.

If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?

I was born in a Army-Naval hospital in California. My mom moved back home to be with family.

What made you decide to write and publish your first book?

Following a near death accident in 09′, the story just came to me in dreams. I was told that I should write it down, so i did. Before I knew it, I wrote my first book. My best friend read it and suggested that I get it published. So, here i am.

How would you describe your books to first time readers?

Fantasy, fiction and romance with an Adult theme.

Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?

I believe that my book can connect with everyone above the age of 21.

What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?

How much I love writing and seeing the results of my efforts.

If you could, what advice would you give to your past self before embarking on this journey?

Perhaps getting involved with a traditional publishing company.

How many people would you ideally like to reach with your books?

I’d love to reach everyone. Who doesn’t need Love, Faith, Hope and mystery in their life?

What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?

Getting the money necessary to publish and marketing.

What’s your biggest strengths when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

Writing the book was the easy part. Publishing was easy, but marketing is always going to be a challenge no matter what niche you write. Readers like to commit to what they read. I wrote my book so that they could feel as though they were living it through my characters.

What’s your biggest weakness when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

Time can always be a weakness. When you’re working a job and the story is just dying to reach paper but there is little to no time to do it. Getting published feels like you’re 6 years old anticipating Christmas day. Marketing can be especially confusing as there are many people who want to market you but you can never be sure if they do what they say they’re going to do.

When do you think you will write your next book?

I’m already working on my next book in this series of The Guardians: The Monno Twins.

Are you self published or did you use a hybrid publisher, or a traditional publisher?

I’m self published. I was told that I had to prove to a Traditional publishing company that I was able to handle a project this big. In hindsight, I wish I could have published with a traditional publishing company.
