Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?

I am from Birmingham Alabama and I currently still reside there.

If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?

I still live in Birmingham, Alabama

What made you decide to write and publish your first book?

I always had what I believe was the ability to express BETTER my thoughts in writing. In my first publication, my desire was to talk about and shed light on what I believe was the Pastor or Minister’s side of ministry.

How would you describe your books to first time readers?

My publications are always UPFRONT at time BLUNT but very transparent writings.

Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?

Any person from ages 18 and up.

What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?

How easy it is to do if you take time, sit down and write. Also the difficulties of getting local support and sales.

If you could, what advice would you give to your past self before embarking on this journey?

Don’t cut corners! Print REALISTIC copies that wont allow you to spend resources that book sales wont be able to retrieve.

How many people would you ideally like to reach with your books?

Millions

What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?

Marketing and at times sales

What’s your biggest strengths when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

a. Writing is very easy for me when I sit down in a quiet place and do it.
B. I’m extreme when it comes to excellence! It has to be HIGH in content and quality.
C. Marketing is also decent because I know lots of people and have good repours with them.

What’s your biggest weakness when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

a. Staying focused and completing projects.
b. Not always having the finance
C. I’m really not an out front kinda of guy. Therefore, Book signings & Live interviews are sorta of difficult but I can do them.

When do you think you will write your next book?

I’m revising several that I wrote in 2008 right now. However, I also have another one that I’m trying to find the time to start. (The Deceptions of the FREE PLACE! Avoiding the Pitfalls of Success)
