Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?
Born in Brooklyn.
Reside in Los Angeles.
If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?
Two graduate schools. two delinquency treatment programs one in New Jersey the other in Provo,Utah.
What made you decide to write and publish your first book?
After I finished my memoir I decided that a mystery novel could be easier, what an error.
How would you describe your books to first time readers?
My books are easy reads that always touch on issues of racism and relationships, sexism and homophobia and love.
Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?
Educators, mystery readers, santa monica residents, police officers.
What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?
That If I waited Solutions and answers would come to me.
If you could, what advice would you give to your past self before embarking on this journey?
Be patient.

What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?
Figuring out a title and a cover.
