Originally from Norristown,Pa. Move to Atlantic City N.J. in 1978, move to Las Vegas in 1980 and then to Katy Texas in 1998
If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?
I move to New Jersey to get into the Casino Business, I moved to Las Vegas because I got in trouble in Atlantic City. After working in the casino business for 20 years my wife wanted to move near her family in Texas. The rest of the story can be found in my book.
What made you decide to write and publish your first book?
I had health issues after 10 years of running a remodeling company in Texas. I had to reinvent myself because I could no longer work in the remodeling business. I learned how to make money off of marketing people on my Internet Radio Shows (Tough Talk Radio Network) and also leading Business Networking Events (Tough Talk Business Network)After meeting so many people in person and on the air I decided to write compilation books (Share Your Message With The World Vol 1 & 2)It was another revenue stream, plus it allowed me to show people how to be transparent so that they could create know, like, trust and connection with their readers. From that I decide to write my own story (From Las Vegas To The Promised Land)so that I could show my journey and what God did for me in my life. Also I think it was great therapy. lol.
How would you describe your books to first time readers?
I think that the compilation books and my personal book will show first time readers that being transparent sells. Know, Like and Trust are good but Connection is the most important part of the equation
Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?
I think people connect to others that not perfect. That have done things that they might not be proud of. It will also help them become motivated to finish their journey and tell their testimony.
What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?
How blessed I was to be able to look back and see that I had more good than bad in my life. Publishing was another learning experience
If you could, what advice would you give to past self yourself before embarking on this journey?
Listen more, focus more, continue telling the story
