Where are you from originally and where do you reside now?

I am originally from Brooklyn, New York. Now I reside in Elizabeth City, NC.

If you currently reside somewhere besides where you were born, what’s the story that lead from there to here?

My parents wanted a better place for us to live.

What made you decide to write and publish your first book?

I went through a lot with both of my marriages and both times, they were not good. By the Grace of God, I made it out and it inspired me to want to write and publish my books.

How would you describe your books to first time readers?

Remember that God loves you and trouble don’t last always!

Who do you feel is most likely to connect with the topics you write about?

Women because a lot can relate to what I have been through.

What unexpected or surprising thing did you learn during the process of writing and publishing?

Don’t take life for granted!

If you could, what advice would you give to your past self before embarking on this journey?

Never give up on God because he will always have your back!

How many people would you ideally like to reach with your books?

Millions

What has been the biggest challenge and frustration during the process to date?

Many people have hurt my feelings and called me a liar; to the point it felt like no one was going to purchase my books.

What’s your biggest strengths when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

My biggest strengths in writing is when I wrote about things God did for me. My biggest strengths in publishing is how Amazon did my books. My biggest strengths when it comes to marketing is word of mouth to my church members, family and friends.

What’s your biggest weakness when it comes to book a) writing, b) publishing and c) marketing?

Trying to make sure I don’t stop writing.

When do you think you will write your next book?

I am writing it now

Are you self published or did you use a hybrid publisher, or a traditional publisher?

I used a company which published the paper back copy.
